What is gypsum plaster used for?

Gypsum plaster is used for finishing walls and ceilings, providing a smooth, paint-ready surface. It’s also used for fire protection, moisture resistance, and decorative applications depending on the product type.

Gypsum plaster dries faster, doesn’t need water curing, and gives a smoother finish compared to cement plaster. It’s also lighter and has better fire-resistant properties.

It depends on your project needs. For fire safety, choose Fire Resistant Gypsum. For high strength, go for Super Tojal Gypsum. For fine decorative work, Micronized Gypsum is recommended. Contact Rezvan mines for more information.

Gypsum plaster works best on brick, block, concrete, and gypsum boards. Some surfaces may require a bonding agent for better adhesion, especially low-absorption substrates like concrete (use Gyptone Gypsum).

Yes, gypsum plaster is non-toxic, produces less dust, and is recyclable. Many products are made from natural or recycled gypsum.
